As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will use your lived experience, compassion, and recovery-focused skills to empower people, provide meaningful support, and help clients develop the tools needed to achieve positive behavioral change. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements, state regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with at-risk populations.
- National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC) certification is preferred.
- Two or more years of experience working as a community support individual or in-home case management is preferred.
