The Peer Recovery Specialist will provide recovery support and peer coaching to program participants and will be required to attend Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) State mandated trainings delineating peer role functions, competencies, responsibilities, and orientation to DMHAS treatment initiatives. This role is part of the Coordinated Specialty Care and Community Integration program, which provides comprehensive services including evidence-based pharmacological treatment, supported employment and education services, individual and group psychotherapy, case management, family therapy, and recovery support in the community and clinical settings. This program services individuals ages 15-35 who have an ESMI diagnosis.
