The Peer Recovery Coach provides individual and group-based mentorship and support to individuals recovering from mental health and substance use disorders at the Henderson Detention Center and our Henderson office location. This role assesses the needs of each individual, works to identify barriers and goals in recovery, develops recovery plans, and connects individuals to appropriate social services and resources. The Peer Recovery Coach has extensive documentation experience; accurately charting services and peer progress. You will work alongside other members of our Recovery Support Service team to run the daily operations of the Henderson Office, provide support to our members and to individuals incarcerated at the Henderson Detention Center, supervise and lead daily activities and programming, and provide general clerical support. This position requires completion of a Peer Recovery Support Specialist training, approved by the Nevada Certification Board. Applicants must hold a PRSS-I or CPRSS credential through the Nevada Certification Board.
