About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Peds Dietitian Specialist in Louisville, KY! This is an acute care inpatient role at Norton Hospital and Norton Children's Hospital, serving both adults and pediatrics. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, with a requirement for four weekends and one holiday coverage per year. You will join a team of over 20 Dietitians within the Norton Healthcare system, providing exceptional patient care. The role offers flexible start/end times, periodic hybrid scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth through a clinical ladder program. Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Specialty certification when required
Nice To Haves
- Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
