Requirements

  • Medical Doctorate with current licensure.
  • Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Provider shall obtain, maintain and participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs.
  • Possess an interest in working with adolescents.
  • Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
  • Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
  • Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
  • Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community, and the general public.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
  • Adept in decision making responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and provide treatment to children and adolescents in the clinic.
  • Maintain flexible hours to support clinic expansion, including evenings and weekends.
  • Develop and uphold clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for pediatric care.
  • Be available by phone during scheduled hours for assistance as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of patient education materials.
  • Supervise healthcare students and non-physician providers, ensuring quality care.
  • Participate in clinical quality assurance and Performance Improvement Programs.
  • Advise patients on health, illness prevention, and family planning services.
  • Attend staff meetings and committees punctually and as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support our mission.
