Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
Current and unrestricted medical licensure.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of pediatric practice experience.

Responsibilities

Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care services for pediatric patients.
Perform physical examinations, well-child visits, and developmental assessments.
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals when needed.
Educate patients and families on health, wellness, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and care teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
Supervise assigned clinical support staff and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners as applicable.
