About The Position

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a physician to join its Lone Tree Pediatrics team. The position combines direct patient care with administrative duties designated by the Medical Director or designee, in accordance with the Colorado Medical Practice Act. The Physician Lead provides overall direction for OnPoint Medical Group activities. The role is scheduled for four days per week and provides medical services to pediatric clinic patients, including the functions needed to deliver quality care.

Requirements

• Physician qualifications to provide pediatric medical care.
• Practice in accordance with the Colorado Medical Practice Act.
• Comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to pediatric clinic patients and perform functions necessary to deliver quality medical care.
• Provide physician oversight for areas of the practice that require it.
• Use sound medical judgment, adhere to medical ethics, recognize professional limitations and seek consultation when advisable, and stay current with technologies and industry standards.
• Support and respect administration in communications with staff and in group settings.
• Address administrative issues directly and privately with the people concerned.
• Comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
