About The Position

The HealthCare Connection (THCC) is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join their team and provide high-quality, accessible primary care to children and families in the communities they serve. The Pediatrician will provide direct medical care to pediatric patients in a primary healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of each patient's overall care plan.

Requirements

Medical degree.
Board certification in Pediatrics.
Completion of three years of pediatric residency training.
Demonstrated clinical skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team across the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting, community health center, FQHC, or similar practice environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
Perform patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Monitor the overall management of assigned patients.
Provide health education, preventive care, immunizations, and anticipatory guidance.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team.
Provide culturally sensitive care to patients and families from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
Participate in shared pediatric call coverage.
