About The Position

The Division of General Pediatrics and Section on Adolescent Medicine at Emory University’s School of Medicine is seeking a board certified adolescent medicine physician for a part time position. General Pediatricians with experience and interest in adolescent medicine are also encouraged to apply. The faculty member will join three established adolescent medicine physicians and a large group of academic general pediatricians. The applicant will be part of the Emory University’s Department of Pediatrics, the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, and the Section on Adolescent Medicine. This position is perfect for the person interested in helping to develop a) a strong adolescent medicine clinical program in a large healthcare system, b) additional adolescent medicine experiences for trainees, c) multidisciplinary clinical venues for adolescents with complex healthcare needs, and d) interfacing with community groups interesting in improving adolescent health.

Requirements

  • Board certified adolescent medicine physician
  • General Pediatricians with experience and interest in adolescent medicine are also encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical education is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing primary and consultative care to adolescent patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA.
  • Supervising and teaching residents and medical students.
  • Initiating and participating in clinical research and quality improvement projects.
