About The Position

We are looking for a Pediatric Urgent Care Physician (Per Diem) to join Allied Physicians Group in Staten Island, NY as we build a best-in-class Pediatric Urgent Care experience. This is your opportunity to help shape access, improve care delivery, and provide families with peace of mind during their most stressful moments. You will work alongside pediatric providers in a high-energy urgent care setting designed specifically for children and families. From acute sick visits to urgent procedures, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused care. Requirements

Active New York State Physician License
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics
DEA Registration
Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability
Excellent communication and bedside manner

Nice To Haves

Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)

Responsibilities

Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients—from infants through young adults
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting
Deliver reassurance, education, and clear communication to families during high-stress situations
Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
Collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care
Maintain efficient and accurate documentation within athenaOne EMR
Support telemedicine integration and patient-centered innovation initiatives
