You will work alongside pediatric providers in a high-energy urgent care setting designed specifically for children and families. From acute sick visits to urgent procedures, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused care. Requirements

  • Active New York State Physician License
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • DEA Registration
  • Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability
  • Excellent communication and bedside manner
  • EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients—from infants through young adults
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting
  • Deliver reassurance, education, and clear communication to families during high-stress situations
  • Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care
  • Maintain efficient and accurate documentation within athenaOne EMR
  • Support telemedicine integration and patient-centered innovation initiatives
