About The Position

Premier Pediatric Therapy Source is seeking an experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve as a Clinical Supervisor. This role offers a unique opportunity to balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain a reduced caseload while providing day-to-day leadership, support, and development to the clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys treating children and families but also finds fulfillment in helping other clinicians grow. The role includes dedicated time for supervision, clinician development, onboarding, quality improvement, and collaboration with the leadership team, allowing for career advancement without sacrificing clinical connection.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Virginia license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
  • Approximately 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience.
  • Prior supervisory, team-lead, or people-leadership experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Comfortable providing both encouragement and clear, constructive feedback.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining appropriate leadership boundaries.
  • Collaborative, thoughtful, organized, and solutions-focused approach to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mentorship, onboarding, clinical quality, or staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive, consistent supervision to members of the clinical team.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews that help clinicians continue growing.
  • Coach therapists through clinical, professional, and team-related challenges.
  • Support strong clinical standards, documentation quality, and family-centered care.
  • Oversee the clinical portion of new therapist onboarding.
  • Partner with Clinical Specialists and experienced clinicians who provide discipline-specific mentorship and case consultation.
  • Participate in interviewing and selecting new clinical team members.
  • Identify opportunities for training, professional development, and clinical improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and leadership team on issues affecting clinicians and service delivery.
  • Maintain a reduced pediatric caseload within your licensed discipline.
