About The Position

Blackbird Health is a clinician-founded, owned, and operated company dedicated to providing the best care for children. We deliver virtual and in-person mental health services across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, with expansion into new markets planned for 2026. Our approach focuses on the whole child, examining the interplay of brain, body, and behavior to address the root causes of challenges. We are seeking Child and Adolescent Therapists for fully remote roles across the United States, specifically hiring clinicians licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Virginia for Full-Time W2, Part-Time W2, and 1099 opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families.

Requirements

Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland.
One (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients.
One (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting.
Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet (if applicable as a 1099 contractor).
Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care.
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress.
Invest in patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients.
Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support.
Collaborate with other specialty providers.
Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records.
Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.
