St. Luke's is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric Surgeon to provide high-quality, cost-effective medical care. This individual will participate in quality, patient satisfaction, and performance improvement initiatives. The role involves performing history and physical examinations, providing consultations, rounding on patients, and delivering care based on evidence-based medicine. The surgeon will also be responsible for timely communication with referring physicians, patients, and families, participating in patient and family education, and attending practice group meetings. Maintaining up-to-date medical records, submitting accurate billing information, and supervising Advanced Practitioners are key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining licensure through continuing medical education and fostering effective working relationships within the hospital and St. Luke’s University Health Network. Adherence to confidentiality, safety policies, and Service Excellence Standards is expected. Performance Improvement in clinical care, customer service, operations, and safety, along with financial responsibility, are also integral to the role. The surgeon will perform duties within their specialty and other related duties as assigned.
