Assistant/Associate/Professor - (Surgery)
About The Position
East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level for a non-tenure-track academic appointment. The successful candidate will join three experienced Pediatric Surgeons in an academic pediatric surgery practice. Pediatric surgery is a division within ETSU’s Department of General Surgery, and the position includes an academic appointment at ETSU. A significant portion of the position’s effort will be dedicated to teaching students and residents, training, and research. Niswonger Children’s Hospital shares a medical campus with ETSU Health, the Quillen College of Medicine, and Johnson City Medical Center. Faculty rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience, and salary will be nationally competitive. The position is contingent upon external funding. Employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check. Applicants must attach a CV and a copy of their transcripts.
Requirements
- MD or DO.
- Unrestricted Tennessee Medical License at the time of hire.
- American or Canadian Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery at the time of hire.
- Satisfactory background check.
Responsibilities
