About The Position

Milestone Therapy offers a unique career opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who want to provide comprehensive care to children. The model is built around the reality that children need support in various settings, including classrooms and clinic sessions. SLPs at Milestone are not confined to a single setting and can work in school-based, clinic-based, or a blended approach, with their caseloads tailored to client needs and supported by a team. This role offers a 4-day work week (4x10 schedule) allowing for full-time impact with three days off to recharge, promoting a better work-life balance. The position emphasizes practicing great speech therapy with continuity and context, offering the flexibility to meet each child's needs without compromising between preferred settings and the children who require their services. Milestone Therapy is looking for passionate SLPs who want to do meaningful work across a child's entire world, within a schedule that respects their personal life. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Active Illinois Speech Therapy License
1–2 years of pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A love and passion for working with the pediatric population
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
A deep commitment to helping children unlock their life's potential
Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Illinois Professional Education License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement through ISBE (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech therapy services in a clinic setting.
Support client progress through creative and engaging treatment approaches.
Supervise CFY providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve client outcomes holistically.
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
