Afternoon Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
About The Position
Therapitas is seeking a passionate, patient, and mission-driven pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Therapitas-Shepherd Clinic. This outpatient pediatric therapy clinic focuses on ensuring Spanish-speaking children have equal access to appropriate therapy services. The role is part-time with the potential to transition to full-time. SLPs will work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams of Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and fellow SLPs to develop a holistic approach to patient care. The position offers an after-school schedule and does not require bilingual Spanish-English skills, though bilingual candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities
- Conduct treatment for children ages 0 to 18
- Determine eligibility based on medical necessity
- Create developmentally appropriate treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based treatment to address deficits that affect quality of communication skills
- Document evaluations and therapy sessions in a timely manner
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve an integrated approach to service delivery
