About The Position
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join their Outpatient Pediatric Rehab Team. This is a Full-Time position located at the Wolfson Children's Drew Bradbury Center Clinic in downtown Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work weekdays during periods of high census and holiday rotations. Previous experience in a pediatric outpatient setting and evaluation experience is required.
Requirements
- Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more year(s) Outpatient Pediatric Experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and treatment of patients with all diagnoses.
- Provide extensive patient/family education.
- Provide multidisciplinary team care with other Rehab. professionals, nursing, physicians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc.
- Work in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.
