About The Position

H2 Health Kids is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our outpatient team. At H2 Health Kids, you'll work with children presenting with autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, developmental delays, social communication challenges, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and feeding or oral-motor difficulties. Our team focuses on evidence-based, child-centered care that helps children strengthen communication, language development, social interaction, and functional skills while partnering closely with families throughout the therapy journey.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (for SLP).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (for SLPA).
  • Current Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure (for SLP).
  • Current Texas SLPA license or eligibility for licensure (for SLPA).
  • CCC-SLP preferred or CFY eligible (for SLP).
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • New graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply (for SLP).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills (for SLP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (for SLPA).
  • Passion for working with children with developmental and communication needs (for SLP).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized, evidence-based speech and language therapy to children with developmental and communication disorders.
  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans that address speech, language, social communication, feeding, and oral-motor needs (SLP).
  • Implement engaging, play-based interventions that promote communication growth and developmental progress.
  • Partner with families and caregivers to support carryover and success outside the clinic.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Manage a typical full-time outpatient caseload averaging approximately 10-12 patient visits per day.
