About The Position

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a registered Sonographer for a part-time weekend position. This role offers a flexible schedule, working 24 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pediatric experience is not required, and a sign-on bonus of $2,500 is available for eligible applicants. Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent education.
• No experience required.
• No supervisor experience required.
• RDMS or equivalent certification.

Nice To Haves

• Less than 2 years of experience.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
• RDCS or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
• Assists with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.).
• May also perform vascular imaging.
• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
