Registered Nurse (RN) – Day & Overnight Shifts (Boonton, NJ 07005) Location: Boonton, NJ Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing Company: Affirmed Home Care Make a meaningful impact providing 1:1 pediatric nursing care to children who rely on your skill, compassion, and clinical judgment. Affirmed Home Care is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support pediatric clients in the Boonton, NJ area. Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive pediatric assessments — Perform ongoing clinical evaluations and respond to changes in condition
- Skilled nursing interventions — Medication administration, respiratory support, enteral feeding, and equipment management
- Family‑centered collaboration — Partner with families to promote comfort, safety, and stability
- Clinical documentation — Maintain accurate, timely notes to support continuity of care
- Home safety & infection control — Ensure proper equipment use and a safe care environment
