This role involves providing comprehensive medical care under the supervision of licensed or attending physicians and other medical professionals, working as part of an interdisciplinary team to diagnose, treat, and prevent health conditions. The position requires knowledge of and utilization of appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations, and demonstration of incorporating current research into daily treatment. Residents may treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders, and will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. The role involves preventing, diagnosing, and medically and surgically managing diseases, disorders, and injuries. This includes performing and interpreting problem-focused history and physical exams, formulating diagnoses, performing and ordering diagnostic studies, and implementing management plans. The position also requires practicing with professionalism, compassion, and concern in a legal, ethical, and moral fashion.
