About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our exceptional clinical team throughout Fairfield County, CT. We currently have active pediatric cases available and are especially interested in nurses experienced in caring for medically fragile children with complex medical needs. If you're passionate about pediatric nursing and value building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients and their families, this opportunity is for you. As an Affirmed Pediatric RN, you'll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of your patient's home. Our nurses care for medically complex pediatric clients. Unlike facility-based settings, home care allows you to focus entirely on your patient, deliver high-quality individualized care, and make a lasting impact on a child's life. Shifts are typically 8–12 hours, with flexible day and night shift scheduling options available.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Comfortable providing skilled nursing care to medically fragile pediatric patients
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Physical exam within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric, home care, PICU, NICU, or medically complex patient experience strongly preferred
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience strongly preferred
