Pediatric RN
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is expanding its Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old girl in Upper Saddle River, NJ. This is a consistent Monday–Friday position offering the opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with the child and family while providing individualized nursing support throughout the school day. The RN will meet the child at the family’s home each morning and travel with the child to school. The RN will remain with the child at school and provide nursing care and support throughout the school day.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN License in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Pediatric experience in home care, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
- Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings
- Experience caring for pediatric patients with respiratory complications
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and provide attentive 1:1 care
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
- Authorized to work in the United States

- Valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care
- Accompany the child from home to school and provide nursing support throughout the school day
- Monitor the child's condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Provide G-tube feedings and related care
- Monitor for and respond appropriately to respiratory complications
- Collaborate with the child's family and Affirmed Home Care's pediatric clinical leadership team
- Follow the established plan of care and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate changes in the child's condition to the appropriate members of the care team
