About The Position
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Registered Nurse in our PACU / Same Day Surgery Department. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. This full-time position will work 10-hour shifts and 80 hours bi-weekly.
Requirements
- BSN degree or in process
- Ohio RN License
- One year experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or ICU
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtained within one year of hire

Responsibilities
- Participate in daily planning via patient rounds.
- Work as part of the interdisciplinary team for the plan of care for our patients.
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients within the recovery room.
- Perform assessments and interventions designed to keep patients safe after surgery.
- Provide leadership through activities such as preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.
