Full Time Pediatric Registered Dietitian
About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dietitian to join their team full-time in a pediatric post-acute and rehabilitation setting located in New Jersey. This position supports pediatric patients from birth through 21 years of age within a highly specialized clinical environment focused on improving quality of life for medically complex children and their families. The facility provides a nurturing, patient-centered atmosphere designed to support both physical and emotional well-being. Services within the setting include: Pediatric rehabilitation therapy, Skilled nursing and medical care, Therapeutic recreation, Palliative and hospice support services, Specialized educational programming, Family respite services. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who is passionate about pediatric nutrition and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) required
- Clinical nutrition experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor nutrition interventions and patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions
