About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children’s Medical Center is looking for a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our team in Central Texas. The experience, professionalism, commitment to patient care, and multidisciplinary nature of our caregivers, along with the resources that McLane Children’s Scott & White can offer in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, make the Division of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at McLane Children’s unique. This position is mainly outpatient focused, with some inpatient rounding. The physician will be the third in the group, joining a Physician and Nurse Practitioner. There is a light call volume, and a pediatric sleep program and sleep lab are in place. The role offers the opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects, and to work with pediatric residents and medical students. The facility is a Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis accredited facility.

Requirements

Full-time BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty or board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
