Advocate Health and Hospitals CorporationCharlotte, NC

About The Position

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine at Levine Children's Hospital is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join their team of providers in Charlotte, NC. The Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Division is a thriving group of seven physicians and six APPs that serve two children's hospitals and four outpatient locations. Levine Children's is home to Charlotte's only accredited Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center and provides multidisciplinary care in the areas of Aerodigestive, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, MDA, Severe Asthma, Sickle Cell, Pulmonary Hypertension and Technology Dependence. Levine Children's Hospital is a 253-bed pediatric hospital located on the campus of Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jeff Gordons Hospital is a 28-bed pediatric floor on the campus of Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. Although we are primarily located at two locations, we are one team that works cohesively and supports each other. LCH has repeatedly been ranked among the Best Children's Hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, most recently in eight pediatric specialties for 2023-2024, including Urology, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Neonatology, Nephrology, Cancer, Orthopedics, and Pulmonology and Lung Surgery. The growing academic department brings exciting opportunities for innovative patient care, team-based care models, teaching, and research. The position will be for a hybrid role. Schedule will be determined based on needs of division but will not include weekends or call. Patients may be medically complex requiring home ventilation and advanced airway management, such as a tracheostomy, in the outpatient setting. The APP functions independently in an outpatient clinic setting with their own template. The position will work collaboratively with the inpatient team at LCH Main or Jeff Gordons to ensure hospital follow-up needs from our services. Applicants should be interested in caring for complex multidisciplinary patients with pulmonary conditions and demonstrate a commitment to medical education.
