About The Position

Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital is Northern Virginia’s only dedicated children’s hospital and serves as a regional destination for comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care. Located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, the nationally recognized 241-bed children’s hospital provides advanced care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents across more than 45 pediatric specialties. Inova Children’s offers some of the region’s largest and most comprehensive programs, including nationally recognized programs in cardiology and cardiac surgery, neonatology, gastroenterology and pulmonary care. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology
  • Successful completion of pediatric residency program and successful completion of ACGME-accredited pediatric pulmonology fellowship.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
  • Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
  • Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
