About The Position

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a pediatric psychotherapist who will work with children and adolescents and their caregivers in our interdisciplinary pediatric chronic pain and functional neurologic disorder (FND) program. We are expanding this program to include multiple levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient treatment. There are also opportunities to work with other pediatric rehabilitation populations (e.g., limb loss, ARFID). We can provide training and mentorship on chronic pain and FND-specific interventions. Our pediatric programs will be moving to the new Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital. This will be the first children’s rehabilitation hospital in Michigan and represents a collaboration between Mary Free Bed and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work
  • Licensure as a clinical social worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is desired.
