Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation HospitalGrand Rapids, MI
Onsite

About The Position

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a pediatric psychotherapist to work collaboratively with our outpatient team of dieticians and speech and languages therapists and provide outpatient assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with avoidant and restrictive eating (ARFID) related to sensory sensitivities, fear of negative events such as choking, stomach pain, allergic reactions, or vomiting as well as difficulties with limited appetite and food disinterest. A background in exposure-based cognitive behavioral intervention is preferred. We can provide training and mentorship for ARFID-specific interventions. Of note, feeding and eating concerns related to body image and/or weight would not be a focus of this role. Our pediatric programs will be moving to the new Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital.
