About The Position

The Consultation & Liaison Psychiatrist will partner with the Consultation & Liaison Psychologists to collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team in supporting the care of patients with comorbid psychiatric and general medical conditions. The multidisciplinary team includes social work, care coordination, case management, advanced practice providers, pediatric hospital medicine, pediatric subspecialty services, and nursing, all working together to deliver high-quality, effective care. The Consultation & Liaison Psychiatrist will work with a diverse patient population performing evaluations, emphasizing short-term treatment interventions, developing collaborative treatment plans/recommendations, and facilitating referrals for ongoing care as needed. Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pediatric healthcare settings
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
