Pediatric Private Duty Nurse - RN/LPN: Lawrence County
About The Position
This role involves providing personalized 1:1 nursing care in the comfort of a patient's home, focusing on pediatric and young adult patients (infant through mid-20s). The position offers a departure from the fast-paced hospital environment, allowing for meaningful relationships and exceptional care delivery. Haven Home Health & Hospice provides comprehensive training and support for nurses new to pediatric private duty nursing, ensuring confidence before managing independent cases. The role includes managing tracheostomies, ventilators, G-tubes/feeding tubes, medications, patient assessments, monitoring changes in condition, educating families, and collaborating with the clinical team.
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home health experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
