About The Position
At Haven Home Health & Hospice, our Private Duty Nurses provide one-on-one care that allows medically complex children and young adults to remain where they're happiest, at home with their families. Instead of caring for multiple patients each shift, you'll have the time to focus on one child, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful difference in their everyday life. This role allows nurses to build meaningful relationships with patients and families, help children stay at home where they can grow, learn, and thrive, and offers flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license
- Compassionate, dependable, patient-focused care
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the patient's home
- Care for children with tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes, medications, and other skilled nursing needs
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate with the clinical team
- Educate and support caregivers while following individualized care plans
