Requirements

Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) license
Experience in pediatric therapy
Ability to create individualized treatment plans
Proficiency in play-based therapy techniques
Knowledge of various pediatric diagnoses and conditions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate caregivers
Experience with EMR systems

Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s unique needs
Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions
Improve strength, balance, coordination, endurance, posture, gait, and motor development
Treat a variety of pediatric diagnoses including: Developmental delays, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, Genetic disorders, Neuromuscular conditions, Orthopedic conditions, Gait abnormalities, Muscle weakness, Post-surgical rehabilitation
Educate caregivers to maximize carryover at home
Recommend adaptive equipment, orthotics, positioning devices, and home modifications when appropriate
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as children grow
Complete timely documentation using our EMR system
