About The Position

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to work with early intervention and/or preschool children in Columbia County, NY. This position can be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time, with potential for full-time hours based on caseload. The role involves designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, administering evaluations, collaborating with supervisors and families, and maintaining accurate records. The company has been helping children with special needs since 1998, focusing on independence and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current New York State Physical Therapy License

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Working with early intervention and / or preschool children
  • Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain a schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
