This full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve their highest level of function and participation.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
- Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company, state, and payer requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture.
- Support clinical excellence through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
