About The Position
Happyian Therapy & Academy is expanding and seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join their collaborative, play-based team. They welcome both entry-level and experienced clinicians passionate about pediatric care and professional growth. The ideal candidate is ambitious, confident, comfortable with community and advertising events, and eager to help grow the pediatric physical therapy department. They offer full-time and part-time opportunities with hourly or salary-based options, and a potential to grow into a Clinic Director role.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Strong interest in pediatric, play-based, relationship-centered care
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication and family-engagement skills
- Comfortable participating in community outreach and advertising events
- Motivated to grow professionally and contribute to the development of our pediatric PT department
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Entry-level physical therapists are welcome

Responsibilities
- Provide play-based, relationship-centered physical therapy guided by DIR principles.
- Focus on sensory regulation and individualized sensory diets.
- Engage children in child-led, therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with families and provide education.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Facilitate skill generalization across environments.
- Support the development of independence and functional participation.
- Participate in community and advertising events.
- Contribute to the development of the pediatric PT department.
