We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our full-time pediatric team in Jacksonville, Florida. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation services in a supportive and engaging environment. The clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), music therapy, feeding therapy, and social skills programming, allowing clinicians to collaborate across specialties to provide exceptional patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • For Physical Therapists (PT): Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • For Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA): Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience treating the pediatric population is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and physical challenges (PT).
  • Deliver individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PTA).
  • Collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team to promote functional independence and developmental success.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and child-centered therapy environment.
