About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a dynamic pediatric Occupational Therapist for a full-time outpatient pediatric position within the Mary Bridge health system network. The role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy services for both in-patients and outpatients. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, committed to quality, and capable of operating at the highest level of clinical practice. They should be self-driven, outcomes-oriented, and able to maintain quality work and productivity in a fast-paced environment. Optimal time management skills, strong collaboration, and the ability to see the "big picture" are essential, along with strong inter-disciplinary communication. MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. New graduates are considered, though experienced clinicians with a broad skill set and second language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • Perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • Communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients
