• Specialty: Pediatric Otolaryngology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: St. Louis, MO • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Mar 1, 2027 • Coverage Type: Clinical + call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 740a-5p • Call Schedule: 7a-7p, nights & weekends; TBD • Call Coverage: IP & ED, along with patient escalations, round on any patients admitted to ENT service, perform urgent surgeries/procedures. • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Call Ratio: 1:3 • Call-back %: Varies • Phone Consults: 3 • Patient Volume: 26-30 per day • Patient Demographics: Infant to 18 yrs • Admissions: 1-2 while on-call • Rounding Included: Yes (assigned patients) • Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 APPs, 2 MAs, 1 Office Staff • Trauma Level: I • Facility PEDs Level: III • Beds in the Dept: 150 • EMR: Epic • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active MO License
- BC
- BLS, ATLS
- Pediatric-trained
- Local only (no flights & no lodging)
Responsibilities
- Call Coverage: IP & ED, along with patient escalations, round on any patients admitted to ENT service, perform urgent surgeries/procedures.
- Rounding Included: Yes (assigned patients)
- General Otolaryn: Surgical & Non-surgical
- Endoscopic procedures: Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy, Flexible, Rigid & Laryngoscopy
- Tracheotomy
