About The Position

Cortica is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, build relationships with families, and practice evidence-based, play-centered therapy. Cortica believes in providing comprehensive care that addresses the whole child, not just their diagnosis. OTs at Cortica work with a variety of specialists to create integrated treatment plans. The role involves completing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering play-based therapy, collaborating with families and the clinical team, participating in co-treatment sessions, educating caregivers, maintaining documentation, and contributing to program development. The productivity expectation is 26 direct patient care hours per week, with dedicated time for other essential tasks.

Requirements

  • Current California Occupational Therapy License
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pediatric therapy preferred, but clinicians with strong pediatric foundations are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each child's strengths, interests, and goals
  • Deliver engaging, play-based therapy focused on sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, self-care skills, and participation in daily activities
  • Collaborate closely with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide integrated care
  • Participate in co-treatment sessions when clinically appropriate
  • Educate caregivers with practical home strategies that support continued progress
  • Maintain documentation and billing that supports high-quality care
  • Contribute ideas that help strengthen and grow our clinical programs
