About The Position

This role involves performing comprehensive patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans and measurable goals for home health patients. The Occupational Therapist will provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care, focusing on functional skills such as fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living. The position requires monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment plans, and educating families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs. Collaboration with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members is essential for coordinated, high-quality patient care, along with completing accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities
