About The Position
The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for an Open Rank Pediatric Surgical Ophthalmologist. The role includes outpatient care, surgical responsibilities, an interest in clinical and/or bench research, and teaching and supervision of residents and medical students. The position serves patients at the UNC Kittner Eye Center, 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC, and at other clinical sites owned by UNC Eye. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Variable hours are considered, from 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE. The position reports directly to the new Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, Dr. Benjamin Frankfort.
