About The Position

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Specialty Group (CSG), in partnership with Children’s Wisconsin (CW), are seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric Ophthalmologist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a community setting while being part of a leading, nationally ranked children’s hospital with a strong academic and clinical mission. The primary clinical responsibilities will be at the Children’s Wisconsin Appleton Clinic. The position is employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin and provides care at Children’s Wisconsin locations in Northeast Wisconsin. This role is part of an innovative collaboration between Children’s Wisconsin, Bellin Health, and ThedaCare, aimed at improving the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through a collaboration called Connected for Kids. This position offers the chance to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained pediatric Ophthalmologist
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin
