About The Position
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Nephrology at UNC is seeking a pediatric clinician educator or clinician researcher for a fixed-term-track faculty position. The successful candidate will join seven current FTE pediatric faculty members and help support the division’s clinical outreach mission in multidisciplinary settings. The position offers access to resources within the UNC Kidney Center and the Children’s Research Institute, along with opportunities to work with internal and external collaborators. Qualified applicants will have a supportive environment in which to develop quality improvement, educational, basic, clinical, or translational science research studies. Translational research opportunities are further supported through potential collaboration with the adjacent UNC School of Public Health and the NC TraCS Institute, UNC’s integrated home for its CTSA. The full-time faculty member will contribute to the academic missions and help foster an inclusive workplace environment.
Requirements
- Strong clinical experience managing complex renal conditions.
- Strong clinical experience managing acute kidney injury.
- Strong clinical experience with dialytic therapies.
- Strong clinical experience in pediatric kidney transplantation.
