About The Position

Cortica is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team at its Carlsbad, California center. The role involves collaborating with specialists and families to develop integrated treatment plans and provide evidence-based, play-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care for children. Services may be delivered in person at the clinic or via telehealth, as clinically appropriate. Occupational Therapists work alongside Speech Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Physicians, Counselors, and other specialists. Requirements

Hold a current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
Hold a master’s degree in a related field.
Be able to complete safety training within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Establish occupational therapy treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools, aligned with Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.
Consult with transdisciplinary team members to develop collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
Provide individual, group, and co-treatment therapy sessions within scope and as clinically appropriate.
Contribute clinical insight to the autism diagnostic process and administer standardized assessments such as ADOS, as appropriate.
Provide therapeutic services in person at the clinic and via telehealth, as clinically appropriate.
Complete documentation accurately within Cortica’s designated time frames.
Provide neurodiversity-affirming interventions that are play-based and goal-based.
Facilitate functional, child-led experiences to address individualized goals.
