About The Position

The staff licensed physical therapist evaluates, examines, treats, monitors and provides ongoing standardized pediatric assessments of patients/clients. This role involves performing all necessary paperwork/reports, helping to plan and develop our new pediatric program, and maintaining communication with patients/clients, patient/client family, caregiver, physician, and other staff. The position also includes presenting in-services where needed, supervising therapy assistants and support staff, and working with a team of other pediatric therapists to provide one-on-one and co-treatments. A key aspect of this role is helping children with sensory processing challenges that may affect their ability to focus and learn, along with other diverse duties as requested or required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S.), Master's (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy board certification and licensure according to state regulations
  • Supervisor's license as required by state
  • Valid Driver's license
