About The Position

Alphanumeric is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to work in Lumberton, NC with an innovative and compassionate leader in pediatric therapy. The role offers flexible start and end times (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), traditional 5-day schedules, four 10-hour days, or customized schedule options. Part-time opportunities are available with the ability to grow into full-time, and flexible compensation models are available.

Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Pediatric experience preferred; new graduates with pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and establish measurable goals
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, developmental, and functional challenges
  • Complete re-evaluations and update plans of care as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), as applicable
  • Educate families on home programs and strategies to support ongoing progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
