Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) - Telehealth
About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Telehealth position. New graduates are welcome to apply. The role involves performing in-depth patient evaluations, developing treatment plans and goals, and administering therapy to preserve and improve patients' abilities for independent function. This includes working on range of motion, strength, coordination, behavioral management, social skills, academics, and activities of daily living. The OT will implement treatment plans, provide state-of-the-art Occupational Therapy services, and educate and train families on OT techniques. Collaboration with the MedCare team is essential for quality care. Supervision of assistants is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Texas by anticipated start date

Responsibilities
- Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans and goals as indicated for patients based on their current level of functioning and potential for improvement
- Evaluates patients’ needs and administers therapy to preserve and improve abilities for independent function, such as range of motion, strength, tolerance, coordination, vision, behavioral management skills, social skills, academics, and activities of daily living.
- Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art Occupational Therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Treatment (POT) approved by the physician
- Educate and train families about various OT techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
- Open to supervise assistants is a plus but not necessarily required
